What is connected to what and how? Which steps follow each other in which sequence, when and why? Especially in projects and change processes, as well as after a certain size or length, participants or project team members regularly disengage. Visually presented processes or knowledge support them to come back on board of the respective project or context.

Starting with the larger overlaying context, a process is visualized using tools such as symbolism, story-telling, charts, modeling or comparisons. Besides the simple communication of facts and figures, the creation of knowledge, experience and insight is a motivation throughout.

Change Maps and Learning Maps

Change and learning maps are a powerful communication tool and a strong impulse for change and transformation for the whole organization. They help to communicate enterprise-wide strategies. By means of the visual representation this works in a simple, quick way and even globally beyond languages and cultures. Such artwork is fully customized / tailored to a business, and i can train thousands of employees. These large-scale and detailed maps can display a multitude of situations (actual, expected, scenarios etc.) simultaneously and communicate them to a target group. Usually such visuals are made digitally, like drawn on a large graphic tablet attached to a computer. Hereby it is valuable to present a problem or issue in multiple perspectives, often including a vision image. Furthermore in most cases a message is embedded in the image which the audiences can prototype themselves in accompanying workshops and roll-outs. The target group can thus far better understand the need for change, internalize and become supportive of it. The implementation is carried out in close contact with several levels of the client organization – including leadership is a success factor. It requires excellent preparation and a communication strategy for the final artwork, as communicating it through the organization usually is different from the regular communication patterns.
